Charlarose Lake and Campground Rules 2025
Electric
- No one is to access the electrical boxes; If you do, you will be asked to leave the campground
- All electric wiring from camper to electric box must be plugged into box ONLY.
- The electric meters are read on the 7th of the month. Only the campground owners are allowed to read the meters. Please feel free to double check our readings as we read them.
- Bills are due within 15 days of the reading. Current rate at this time is $0.18 per KWH. Rates are changed when Tipmont/REMC changes their range. After 15 days there will be a charge of $10.00 added to your bill for late fees each month you are late. After 2 MONTHS, a DISCONNECT NOTICE WILL BE ISSUED after personally talking to you.
- All campers and RV's are to switch from electric to LP gas for the water heaters in your unit
Golf Carts and Four wheelers (golf carts can be used as long as you follow these rules
Golf Carts
- Do not exceed the 5 mph speed limit for the campground
- Gold cart must be in good working order
- No horsing around of any kind on the golf cart
- Don't drive golf cart near lake; all golf carts and cars do not park beyond white fence.
- The office has to be given proof of insurance
- No one under the 18 years old can operate the golf cart
- Please park golf behind your unit. When you're not here please keep it covered or park it in a shed
- Do not abuse other resident's property with the golf cart
- Do not destroy campground property or trails with the golf cart
- Any rules broken will incur a $50.00 fine and will be asked to remove it from the campground. Failure to do so, you will be asked to leave the campground altogether.
Four wheelers
- Four wheelers can be driven from camper to the entrance only
- Drive slow
- No horsing around
- Driving on trails or near lake is prohibited
- Proof of insurance is given to the office
- No one under 18 years old can operate the vehicle
- Any rules broken will incur a $50.00 fine and will be asked to remove it from the campground. Failure to do so, you will be asked to leave the campground altogether.
Fishing
- We are catch and release ONLY
- Fishing hours: Monday-Saturday 8:00am-9:00pm // Sunday 8:00am-6:00pm
- $5.00 per person per day; children under the age of 12 years old are old are free
- Season passes available for $50.00 - 2 adults and their children ONLY
- All boats must have one life jacket per person (we have some available in the office)
- No minnows allowed
- You can bring your own boat with your site number on it
- Trolling motors only
- All boats must be removed from the lake by the end of the season
- No parking on the dam or beyond the white fence; vehicles or golf carts
- Keep all trash out of the lake! There are trash containers around the lake
